A Quick Guide to All Inclusive Cruises
Do you like to vacation…kickback, relax, eat food, drink tasty drinks, swim in pools, soak up the rays, and save money? Save Money?? That’s right, you read it correctly, save money! Well if you said yes, then you need to consider all inclusive cruises. You will be able to enjoy great accommodations, food, drinks (alcoholic or non-alcoholic), entertainment, sun, plenty of fun, and save money. The key here is the all inclusive part to the cruise. Let’s dive into that a little more.
All inclusive cruises are cruises that include everything in the package price per person. This will include room, daily cleaning services, all meals, food in-between meals, entertainment (explained below more), and typically a pool area with multiple features. Some cruise ships have climbing walls, an artificially generated wave for surfing (on the boat, not in the ocean), mini-golf, and topless tanning for adults only. All inclusive cruises will also have plenty of activities for the children, from toddlers to teenagers, to participate in, giving the adults much needed relaxation and alone time.
On all inclusive cruises, you tend to get the highest quality service, food, and entertainment possible. Buffets are very common for breakfast and lunch, providing you with literally hundreds of choices. The buffets range from simple comfort foods to elaborate foods. You can grab a slice of pizza for lunch on one plate, and then go back up and grab a piece of steak for your “seconds.” Dinner is typically a more “formal” environment. While you may not need to put on your nice dress or suit, you will be treated as though you are in a 5-star restaurant. Most often, you will find that the dinner restaurants are in fact 4 or 5 star restraints, serving delicious, multi-course meals. The wait staff is the best you can imagine.
Entertainment on the all inclusive cruise will also be spectacular. From Broadway shows to shows on ice, you will surely find something you love. You will also find great shopping and casinos on board, typically in multiple locations. While these are not included in the all inclusive price, they are available for those interested. The shopping on board a cruise ship can be some of the best you will find in any city. From high-end boutiques to small, knick-knack stores, you will find something you’ll love.
One of the most important features you will find on a cruise is the ability to see multiple locations in a short amount of time. Whether you choose a quick 3-night cruise, or a long 7-night one, you will see many places. Cruise boats will anchor during the daytime at many locations, allowing you to get off and explore the area. They will frequently offer excursions to help you enjoy the surrounding area. These range from snorkeling trips in the Caribbean to farmer’s market tours in Italy. Regardless of the area you choose to cruise in, you will see many places, enjoy lots of culture, and save a bundle of money.
